1. Introduction LY15060 is an online 1553B bus cable network tester. It is used to test 1553B bus cable online, locate and troubleshoot cable faults in the maintenance and repair scenarios of aircraft avionics systems in internal and external fields. The LY15060 is composed of a test host and a handheld terminal. The test host adopts a portable reinforced laptop structure with built-in 1553B bus analysis module. The handheld terminal adopts a handheld structure with an integrated dual redundant 1553B remote terminal (RT) interface and built-in DC resistance test, insulation resistance test and impedance test functions. 2.Typical applications LY15060 is used in the field of aircraft internal and external maintenance to test the 1553B bus cable network online and analyze, locate and troubleshoot the bus cable faults. During the test, the test host and the handheld terminal are connected to the stub node of the bus cable network under test respectively, as shown in Figure 5. During routine maintenance and overhaul, more than 80% of cable network faults can be found and eliminated by measuring the DC resistance of the cable stub, the characteristic impedance of the stub, and the insulation resistance of the shielding layer and core wires. | |
