Christ's doctrines only!

I use the KJV Bible and the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance.

2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
(One doctrine; one God! If you wander from the teachings of Christ, you will leave God behind; but if you are loyal and obey Christ and His teachings to the best of your abilities, you will have both the Father and the Son. Where do you learn of those teachings? In God's word).
2 John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
(If anyone comes to teach anything other than what Christ taught, don't even invite them into your home. Don't encourage them in any way).
2 John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
(If you encourage or support them in any way, you become a partaker in their evil deeds and wickedness. When you tithe to a church that is not teaching truth of the Word, you become a partaker. Doctrines and commandments of men make void the word of God).
1 john 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

(Don't believe everything you hear just because someone says it is a message from God. Is it guaranteed that Preachers and Pastors will be 100% correct 100% of the time? No, they are human, they can make mistakes too [see Romans 3:23]. There are a lot of false prophets and teachers in the world today (2023+). Be familiar with God's Word and you will not be deceived. Remember that all wisdom comes from God. [Proverbs 1:7]).

How do you verify that Christ's doctrines are being taught? Check it out in God's word.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

(Study God's Word and you will avoid deception [listening to and believing the doctrines and commandments of men]. Be good workers; one who does not need to be ashamed and who [correctly] explains the Word of God. [Follow the subject and object when you dissect and teach the Word of God]. Study to show thy self approved. Study the entire Bible yourself).

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for [doctrine], for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

(All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right).

Beware of commandments and doctrines of men, they make the word of God empty and meaningless. Here are a few more verses that one could benefit from: Matthew 15:6 and 9 (What does vain mean? Research it yourself); Mark 7:7 and Mark 7:13; Luke 8:21 (Be a brother of Christ, be a doer of His word), Luke 11:28; Acts 4:31 (speak God's truths boldly); Romans 10:17; Titus 1:14.

Doctrines of Christ!

I believe there is nothing more important to true Christianity than the doctrines of Christ. A doctrine is simply a teaching, a precept, a correct way, His truths, guidance in His way, etc. His ways are any and all teachings of the Godhead; God, Christ the son and the Holy Spirit. What are those doctrines you ask? I don't know if a mere human can name them all, but, they are contained in the Bible (His word) for all to read and study personally. From the front cover to the back cover and all the way in between is where you will find those doctrines. For instance, I think John 3:16 is one of the most necessary, basic and fundamental doctrines of Christ; which is true belief that results in eternal life. You either abide in His doctrine or reject His doctrine; see 2 John 1:9-11. It is imperative you stay away from man's doctrines; stick to Christ's doctrines only.

John 1:1-2 [The Word has been there since the beginning. The Word was made flesh (Jesus Christ); see John 1:14].
