We all sin!

This is a KJV Bible study guide.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

[Does He exclude anyone here? What does the word “all” mean? Also, see 1 Kings 8:46, Psalm 53:2-3, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Isaiah 64:6 and Romans 3:9. How many times and how many ways must it be said? We are all infected with the terminal disease called sin]!

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

[If we say we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and refusing to accept the truth. Many believe that once you are saved you cannot sin in the future. Wrong answer! We are all sinners as long as we are in these flesh bodies].

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

[When we confess our sins to Him, He washes away all of our sin that is past. See Romans 3:25. Confession has to be done in truth also. See Psalm 145:18].

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

[If we say we have not sinned, we choose not to believe in Him and call Him a liar. Are you 100% sure that is a good idea]?

We are all in the position of having to make a decision.

We only get two choices: Confession of our sin, or no confession of our sin. [Don’t put it off to later. Now or never]

What does Acts 17:30 say?

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: [All human beings are commanded to repent which means to change your ways and start to do things according to the standards of God. Have all complied at this time (2023+)? No! Just watch the news, read a newspaper or read a Police blotter and you will have your answer].

How does one learn about the standards of God? Through study of His word. How can you know what His standards are if you never study His word? You can’t. You also protect yourself from easily being deceived by a false teacher, preacher, etc.

If you want to be free from the bondage of deception, (caused by listening to false teachers, those that are biblically illiterate, liars, etc.), learn the truth by studying the word of God completely as we are commanded to do; don’t be destroyed for lack of knowledge of God’s word. Another really good reason to study is you will not hear God’s word today where you thought you should hear His word; in a church pew.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. [Want to be free? Study His word; it’s so simple].

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

[That famine for hearing the Word of the Lord is upon us now. People are starving for the truth in the Word. Sadly, fairy tales, false teachings, traditions and commandments of men are all that are taught in most churches today. You can overcome the famine by actually studying the word of God yourself; what a concept].

By studying the Bible yourself you will discover amazing things that, sadly, you will never hear while sitting in a church pew.

Right is right even when everyone is against it; wrong is wrong even when everyone is for it. (William Penn)
