The last trump, # 7 out of 7. Only KJV Bible verses used. 1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. The following definitions come from a Strong’s Concordance: Sleep = G2837, koy-mah'-o; from; to put to sleep, i.e. (passively or reflexively) to slumber; figuratively, to decease:—(be a-, fall a-, fall on) sleep, be dead. Corruption = G5356, fthor-ah'; from; decay, i.e. ruin (spontaneous or inflicted, literally or figuratively):—corruption, destroy, perish. Incorruption = G861, af-thar-see'-ah; incorruptibility; genitive, unending existence; (figuratively) genuineness:—immortality, incorruption, sincerity. Last = G2078, es'-khat-os; farthest, final (of place or time):—ends of, last, latter end, lowest, uttermost. Mortal = G2349, thnay-tos'; liable to die:—mortal(-ity). Immortality = G110, ath-an-as-ee'-ah; deathlessness. Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (I believe the goal is to have an immortal soul and spirit; everlasting, eternal and not mortal). Genesis 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died) that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin. When the real Jesus Christ returns at the seventh (last) trump, we are all changed as stated in the verses above (1 Corinthians 15:51 and 52). Remember, the Antichrist will be on the scene first, before the real and true Christ. We are told what to do concerning this situation in Matthew 24:23, Mark 13:21 and other verses. Most folks seem to overlook these warnings. Study your Bibles completely; connect the dots; get a more complete picture. If you don’t do that now, start today.  | |
