Application of Brewery Wastewater Treatment Equipment
Background: Brewery wastewater mainly comes from water used in the production process, including cleaning equipment and fermentation residues. The wastewater contains a large amount of organic matter (malt, yeast, starch) and nitrogen and phosphorus pollutants, and the treatment requirements are high. Use of equipment: Lifting pumps: to transport the wastewater from the beer production process from the production plant to the wastewater treatment system. The lifting pumps are capable of treating wastewater containing suspended solids and organic matter. Blower: In the biochemical stage of wastewater treatment, the blower supports the microbial degradation of organic matter in the activated sludge or sequencing batch reactor (SBR) process through aeration. Air compressor and air flotation equipment: Air compressors provide high-pressure air to the dissolved air flotation (DAF) equipment, which is used to remove suspended particles, oil and grease, and other contaminants from the wastewater to improve the efficiency of subsequent treatment. Centrifugal pumps: Centrifugal pumps are used to transfer the treated wastewater to the deep treatment unit or reuse system to ensure smooth water flow and proper pressure. Effectiveness: Through the synergistic effect of lifting pumps, blowers, air compressors and other equipment, pollutants such as COD, BOD, suspended particles and nitrogen and phosphorus in the brewery wastewater can be effectively removed, and the wastewater reaches the reuse standard or is directly discharged after treatment, reducing the impact on the environment. https://powrix.com/application-of-brewery-wastewater-treatment-equipment/
